Chip Repairs
A chip is generally described as being smaller than a $1 coin in its entirity, this includes the chip and any cracks that lead away from it.
A chip in a windscreen can generally be repaired cheaply and quickly and the chip will be almost (but not completely) invisible. The purpose of a chip repair is to restore the structural integrity of the windscreen, not the visual clarity.
A Chip repair can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes and your car will be driveable immediately after the repair has been completed. The process for repairing a chip is straight forward.
*Please be aware that if upon inspection of your windscreen it is determineed that the damage is not repairable under Australian Standards we will not proceed with the chip repair and recommend a windscreen replacement instead. We can provide a quote for a replacement windscreen at the time of inspection.
